The Arboretum & Botanic Garden offers distinctive natural settings and one inviting indoor meeting hall for small private gatherings, meetings, and memorial services. The primary indoor venue, Horticulture 2 Meeting Hall (Hort 2), spans approximately 1,630 sq ft and accommodates up to 75 guests in lecture style or about 65 when using tables. Available amenities include chairs, tables, a projection screen, microphone and amplification, wifi access, a podium, a kitchenette with microwave and sink, fans or heaters, and optional audiovisual or videoconferencing setup.
For outdoor events, guests may select among several garden areas—such as the South African Garden or Australian Rock Garden—surrounded by iconic plant collections and greenery. Garden admission for your event’s attendees is included in the rental fee, and guests are welcome to explore the grounds before or after gatherings, with benches and picnic spots accessible on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Rentals are available from 9 am to 5 pm daily, and all events, including set-up and clean‑up, must conclude by closing time; early setups starting at 7 am can be arranged for an additional fee, though after-hours usage is not permitted.
