Tucked within the Cowell Dining Commons, the Mary Holmes Fireside Lounge is Cowell’s largest lounge space and available for casual gatherings of up to 66 guests. This cozy, redwood-paneled room features colorful artwork throughout, creating a charming environment. Soft ceiling lighting and a skylight brighten the space with natural light for reading, in addition to adding built in ambiance. The Mary Holmes Fireside Lounge is perfect for information meetups, student events, and relaxed gatherings in a uniquely charming campus setting. The lounge includes thoughtful entry details such as an ADA “push to open” entrance and a secondary exit at the top of the staircase, adding to the visual appeal.
