Located at the heart of Stevenson College in the Stevenson Commons building, the Stevenson Event Center is the largest DSAS space on the East side of campus. It is designed to accommodate a wide range of events with both elegance and functionality. This versatile venue is ideal for lectures, dinners, theater performances, conferences, and large-scale celebrations. It features a built-in stage with a full-scale audio and visual setup, making it perfect for performances and presentations. The room is thoughtfully designed with multiple setup functions. The SEC includes a carpeted area that lends it self as a Foyer or can be used for smaller, intimate group discussions, and a linoleum floor that easiliy transitions from a seated dinner setup to an open dance floor. A perfect venue for multi-part events and offering seamless flow between events. Three entry doors allow for a refreshing cross breeze within the space, and open to a scenic courtyard view, providing guests a place to take a break and enjoy the outdoors. Whether you’re planning a formal program, festive gathering, or something in between, the SEC adapts to bring your event to life.
