The University Center at UC Santa Cruz offers a diverse range of reservable meeting and event spaces that cater to a variety of campus and community needs. From intimate boardrooms to spacious dining and reception halls, the facility is ideal for meetings, conferences, lectures, banquets, and celebrations. Located on the second floor of the College Nine/John R. Lewis Dining Hall, the venue features rooms that accommodate anywhere from 12 to over 600 guests, with flexible layouts including boardroom, classroom, theater, and reception-style arrangements. Most spaces are available during evenings and weekends, with select rooms open for weekday use as well. Reservations are coordinated through UCSC Catering, and services such as furniture setup, audiovisual equipment, linens, and staffing can be added for an additional fee. A coordination charge is applied to each booking, and discounted rates are offered for UCSC departments and affiliates. Whether planning a formal presentation, a casual gathering, or a large catered event, the University Center provides a polished, centralized location that combines functionality with scenic campus surroundings.
